While staying in Slavutich, we were surprised by the amount of cats on the city streets. Later, in some cafe, we met a woman who came from Germany to, as she put it, count the cats.
This became the starting point for our census.

We began taking photos of the cats and leaving the pictures where they were made. Still, it was rather obvious that the idea of conducting a census of cat population is utopian, since we were unable to search all the staircases, bushes, and basements. We marked the unidentified cats by lumps of fur.
